Perspekt workshops are primarily based on scientific findings from social psychology and peace and conflict research. First and foremost, our workshops aim at strengthening understanding and decreasing prejudice and stereotypical thinking. To this end, we use contact theory and theories of hybrid identity, employing methods based on scientific research. Our goal is to contribute to a society of less identity-based conflict within and between groups. We also want to increase participants' ability for cooperation and tolerance for ambiguity.
